Winner of Ann Fehn pianist's First Prize in the 14th Annual Jessie Kneisel Lieder Competition and 88th Annual Schubert Club Competition in Minneapolis, Minnesota, JOSEPH YUNGEN is currently a C.V. Starr Doctoral Fellow at The Juilliard School, where he studies with Jonathan Feldman. He holds Master of Music degrees in Piano Performance & Literature and Accompanying & Chamber Music from the Eastman School of Music, where he studied with Jean Barr and Douglas Humpherys.
