A collaboration between 30under30 Film Festival and UN Women with The Q featured a weekend-long of celebrations, screenings, and panels of films telling stories about the fight for equality, female empowerment, and emerging young leaders.
The Festival's opening ceremony was held at The UN Women Headquarters on Friday December 1, 2017, and Award Ceremony on Sunday December 3. The Q was pleased to present writer & New York Times columnist and double bassist Suleika Jaouad at the Gender Equality In Film & Media Panel, as part of the Opening Ceremony, as well as being the sponsor of the Festival's Best Film Score Award.
